To apply for the Digital Schools Award, participating schools and teachers are invited to self-assess their developments in digital technology under the two areas of Leadership and Management, and Teaching and Learning.

Leadership and Management

This section should be completed by a representative of the school.  Submissions under the section on Leadership and Management should include relevant documentation and evidence.

Teaching and Learning

This section should be completed by a teacher.  Submissions from at least one teacher in each department within a school are required for the school to achieve the Digital Schools Award.  The teacher profile is linked to the school registered account.

The school is ready to apply for Digital Schools Award when;

  1. The school has undergone a self-review of Leadership and Management and submitted supporting documentation and evidence.
    1. All compulsory indicators must be addressed
    2. At least two other areas for development must be identified
  2. At least one teacher in each department in the school has undergone a self-review of Teaching and Learning and successfully applied for a digital badge.
